Circumcision

The Brit Milah, Bris, or circumcision is the ceremony which marks  the entry of a Jewish male into the covenant of the Creator. The experienced hands of a caring certified Mohelbring a gentle touch to minimize discomfort.

The naming of Jewish boys takes place as part of the Bris Milah. Friends and family gather to celebrate the addition to the Jewish community.

Sterile surgical instruments are wielded to quickly remove the foreskin then sweet wine pacifies the infant, in the traditional manner that assures quick healing and the least possible discomfort for the infant.

Circumcision of older males for conversion or other purposes is performed with anesthesia in a clinical setting.

Parents and other interested parties are invited to contact Rabbi Cohen at the Beth Din to discuss the details of circumcision and naming.
